Survivors of Cancer, Inc.

About us..........

The Pink Diamonds. Survivors of Cancer, Inc. was founded to provide financial assistance to non-profit agencies and organizations whose services support individuals living with breast and other cancers. Funds raised are to be used to provide information and referrals for early detection and treatment for underinsured or uninsured persons diagnosed with cancer.

Linda Lydia, Founder

I have a cancer journey starting in 1995 to date, with triple negative breast cancer. I have been blessed by God to walk and survive this disease that has taken the lives of so many of my dear friends. I can't begin to thank God enough for my 29 years of health mingled with years of chemo, surgeries, radiation and clinical trials.

Pink Diamonds are now providing prostheses for women who have undergone a mastectomy or lumpectomy.

Knitted Knockers

Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prostheses for women who have had breast cancer and undergone mastectomy or lumpectomy. Traditional breast prosthetics can be hot, heavy and sticky. They typically require special bras or camisoles with pockets and can’t be worn for weeks after surgery. Knitted Knockers are soft, comfortable, beautiful and when placed in a regular bra they take the shape and feel of a real breast. They are adjustable, washable and can even be worn while swimming. Our special volunteer knitters provide these FREE to those requesting them.

Knitted Knockers are a light comfortable knitted prosthetic that when placed in a bra has the shape and feel of a real breast, and are more comfortable than silicone prosthetic breasts. These are made and distributed by our group to individuals and medical facilities.
